Trees Up Tompkins
Our Projects
More seedlings planted!
Project 1 Lighthouse Point

Trees Up Tompkins is helping to restore Ithaca's Lighthouse Point Natural Area by removing invasive privet and planting native trees.
We have cleared almost 7000 sq. ft. of invasive species and planted over 100 native trees so far! Clearing and planting are fun projects for people of all ages. Everyone is welcome.

Come join us on the days listed on the home page and help keep the planet healthy while having a good time.
This project was initiated in 2018 by the Cayuga Bird Club and Cornell Botanic Garden. Trees Up Tompkins began clearing and planting in Spring 2020, with support from Sustainable Tompkins Neighborhood Mini-Grant.
Project 2 Trees for Life
You can celebrate the life of someone or the well-being of the planet by giving your time or a monetary contribution. To honor a loved one, please fill out the
TREES UP TOMPKINS Remembrance Request Form below.
We take contributions at any time and will send a recognition card to your loved one and plant a tree or trees in memory of that person(s) at our next planting.
